My Resolution

After reading a few blogs about new years resolutions I decided that my resolution should be to start my own blog. I have been a blog reader for a while now, so why not jump in and write my own? I already regret not writing down more things about Ethan's first year so this will be my attempt to get more memories on paper in 2011. Occasionally I plan to do flashback blogs to help myself remember moments from his first 9 months better. Ethan is changing every day. His newest "trick" is clapping. It is so cute to see him concentrate on getting his hands to go together. He isn't clapping for himself yet. I can't wait for that. I think it is so cute when babies start cheering for themselves when they do something well. For now he practices when we aren't looking and will sometimes oblige us with a few claps if we ask him to do it for us. I can't believe he will be ten months old in just over a week. The time has gone by so fast.
